Living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Fort Lauderdale is the county seat of Broward County, known for its beaches and its many miles of canals and navigable waterways.

About Fort Lauderdale
The lay of the land
Las Olas Boulevard links downtown with the beach and is lined with shops, restaurants and galleries. The Riverwalk follows the New River through downtown, and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park sits between the Intracoastal Waterway and the ocean.
Homes range from downtown and beachfront high-rise condos to canal-front homes with boat docks and established neighborhoods of single-family homes. Waterfront properties come with their own questions, such as seawalls, dock rules, bridge clearances and flood zones, and we'll help you work through them.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Port Everglades are close by, I-95 and I-595 serve the area, and both Brightline and Tri-Rail have Fort Lauderdale stations.
